It is one of the most consistent waves in Mexico, which gives you an opportunity to enjoy all levels of a surfers ability.
The beach has a relaxed atmosphere, with several restaurants in front of the surf area where you can enjoy a meal or a couple of beers.
There are many other famous places to surf in Michoacan for example, La Ticla, Pascuales, La Saladita, El Rancho, etc, etc, etc, and if you are lucky, I can tell you that there are still many other lesser known places.
